A leading construction firm in Littleton, MA is seeking a Payroll Director to supervise all aspects of payroll operations. The successful candidate will manage multi-state payroll, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead strategic initiatives. A bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of payroll experience are required. This position is 100% on-site, Monday through Friday, offering a robust benefits package.
Qualifications
7-10 years of progressive payroll experience, particularly in multi-state payroll management.
Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Experience with payroll ERP systems (Vista by Viewpoint preferred).
Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Oversee the processing of weekly and biweekly multi-state payrolls.
Manage and file multi-state payroll tax returns and deposits.
Conduct Payroll GL reconciliations and ensure proper journal entries.
Prepare and distribute payroll and labor reports.
Collaborate with HR and Finance on benefit deductions and financial reporting.
