SNFout is seeking a Payroll Director for a full-time, in-person role in Brooklyn, NY. You will lead and manage overall payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing while maintaining strict compliance with federal and state regulations.

You will oversee biweekly payroll for 800+ employees, ensure regulatory compliance, manage payroll systems, and collaborate with HR and Finance on data flow, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Execution: Oversee and process biweekly payroll for a workforce of 800+ employees.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• System Management: Manage payroll systems and collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline data flow and accuracy.
• Audit Readiness: Maintain payroll policies, procedures, and documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Lead payroll-related projects, including system upgrades, automation, and reporting improvements.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with HR and Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and employee compensation reporting.
• Internal Support: Provide excellent internal customer service to staff regarding payroll inquiries.

Qualifications

• Payroll Director Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• A minimum of 3 years of hands‑on payroll experience is required, with nonprofit or healthcare sector experience considered a plus.
