Job summary

GTT is seeking a Payroll Design and FLSA Testing Consultant in Tampa, FL to support payroll compliance, process design, and testing activities. You will collaborate with Payroll, HR, Time & Attendance, Finance, and vendor teams to design payroll solutions and validate calculations.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, developing BRDs, creating test plans, and leading System Testing, UAT, and reconciliations. Prior experience with major payroll systems is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of payroll design, implementation, or payroll testing experience.
• Experience gathering payroll requirements and documenting future-state processes.
• Experience supporting payroll system implementations or enhancements.
• Strong payroll testing and reconciliation experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document payroll business requirements and process designs.
• Review and enhance payroll processes, controls, and governance.
• Analyze impacts to FLSA overtime, regular rate calculations, bonuses, premium pay, and payroll compliance requirements.
• Develop BRDs and functional specifications.
• Create and execute payroll test plans, test scripts, and validation scenarios.
• Lead System Testing, UAT, Parallel Testing, and payroll reconciliations.
