Responsibilities

• This position is the lead in monitoring payroll accounting and ensuring payroll data is recorded accurately in DCF accounts.
• Review payroll data processed by the Bureau of State Payrolls and lead reporting in FLAIR; coordinate with budget managers to ensure corrections are timely.
• Assist in researching, evaluating, analyzing, and correcting data affecting the budget; help maintain data logs of corrections.
• Utilize department financial systems to collect and format data for customers; ensure information is usable and clearly presented.
• Process unemployment compensation invoices, validating codes and data prior to processing.
• Responsible for payroll accruals and TR 53 processing; analyze budget balances during CF time.
• Develop and monitor compliance policies for forward processes and encumbrance reconciliations.
• Coordinate with customers to identify needs and drive process improvements.
