Job summary

Metcut Research Inc. Cincinnati - Rosslyn seeks a Payroll/Collections Administrator to manage biweekly payroll, ensure regulatory compliance, and handle collections for outstanding receivables.

The role supports audits, tax reporting, and process improvements while maintaining confidential records and responding to employee inquiries. The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years payroll experience, proficiency with ADP and Excel, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of payroll processing experience including garnishment administration.
• Proficiency with payroll software, preferably ADP, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations and payroll best practices.
• Experience with accounts receivable, collections, and cash application.
• Exceptional attention to detail with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Validate time entries, hours worked, PTO, and leave balances.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, garnishments, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Prepare and file payroll tax reports and year-end forms (W-2s, 1099s).
• Maintain confidential payroll records and respond to inquiries.
• Support payroll audits and system improvements.
• Contact customers about past-due invoices and balances.
• Monitor aging, follow up on delinquencies, resolve discrepancies.
• Apply customer payments and support AR reconciliations.
