You will review hours, process payments, maintain payroll data, generate reports, and coordinate with HR and management. A HS diploma and 1–2 years of experience are preferred; proficiency in Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of payroll and payment processing procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review employee hours, time records, deductions, reimbursements, and other payroll information.
• Enter and maintain payroll data in company systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Verify payroll information and resolve or report discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Process approved company payments and prepare checks or payment documents for mailing on behalf of the company.
• Print checks, prepare supporting documents, envelopes, and mailing labels as needed.
• Verify payment amounts and recipient information before payments are mailed.
• Maintain records of payments processed and mailed.
• Organize and maintain confidential payroll and financial documents.
• Assist with payroll-related questions and coordinate with HR, accounting, and management when necessary.
• Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
