Job summary

RADIX Construction, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk in Denver, CO to support payroll processing, data entry, and general accounting tasks. You will handle confidential employee information and ensure accurate, on-time payments.

Responsibilities include reviewing time records, maintaining payroll data, generating reports, and coordinating with HR and accounting. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years payroll experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of payroll and payment processing procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, biweekly, or monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review hours, time records, deductions, reimbursements, and other payroll information.
• Enter and maintain payroll data in company systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Verify payroll information and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Process approved company payments and prepare checks or payment documents for mailing.
• Print checks, prepare supporting documents, envelopes, and mailing labels as needed.
• Verify payment amounts and recipient information before payments are mailed.
• Maintain records of payments processed and mailed.
• Organize and maintain confidential payroll and financial documents.
• Assist with payroll-related questions and coordinate with HR, accounting, and management when necessary.
• Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
