Job summary

Elder Construction Inc. in Windsor, Colorado is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our Accounting & Finance team. This full-time, in-office role owns weekly payroll and day-to-day benefits administration across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and reconciliation.

You will manage onboarding, employee changes, leaves, and reporting while coordinating with internal teams and outside partners. This position offers overtime eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on payroll experience
• Experience managing full payroll cycle
• Experience with benefits administration including enrollments and COBRA
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working across multiple systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines
• Discretion handling confidential employee information
• Clear communication and follow-through

Responsibilities

• Own and process weekly payroll from timekeeping review through final processing and reconciliation
• Administer employee benefits, enrollments, deductions and Open Enrollment
• Reconcile payroll and benefit data and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate employee information across payroll, accounting and benefits systems
• Coordinate onboarding, employee changes, leaves and offboarding
• Complete recurring payroll, benefit and compliance reporting
• Troubleshoot system and data issues with internal teams and vendors
• Help improve payroll and benefits processes and controls
