Job summary

Greater Seacoast Health is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to ensure accurate, on-time payroll and to administer employee benefits. You will work closely with HR and Finance to manage deductions, audits, reporting, and system maintenance, while upholding confidentiality.

The role demands meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar systems. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this full-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of payroll processing or payroll-related experience.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with multi-department payroll and 200+ employees preferred.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, or a comparable payroll/HRIS system.
• Strong Excel and Office skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely biweekly payroll.
• Review and audit time records, pay rates, and various earnings.
• Handle deductions for benefits, retirement, flexible spending, and other withholdings.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, W-2s, and reporting.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc payroll reports; coordinate with Finance.
