Total Site Solutions (TSS) in Georgetown, TX seeks a Payroll & Benefits Manager to own end-to-end payroll and benefits delivery for a multi-state workforce. You will lead payroll processing, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance while partnering with HR, Finance, and vendors to ensure accurate, timely pay and competitive benefits.

The role emphasizes hands-on HRIS management, process improvements, and strong service mindset to support business growth and workforce satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of payroll and benefits management experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, benefits administration, and relevant federal/state regulations.
• Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll process for all team members.
• Review and approve payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, pay changes, bonuses, commissions, overtime, and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll registers, tax filings, and general ledger entries with Finance.
• Administer multi-state payroll, including state and local tax setup and registrations as the company expands.
• Process off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, and year-end activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with clear communication to leaders.
