The Children’s Community Programs of Connecticut is seeking a dedicated finance professional to steward payroll, benefits, and labor-cost controls. You will report to the Controller and work with Human Resources to ensure accurate payroll input, processing, and reconciliation.

You’ll prepare program allocations, support grant payroll calculations, and maintain position control across funding sources. Strong Excel and ADP experience are essential in a nonprofit setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years accounting experience, including payroll and payroll-tax reconciliation.
• General ledger and account reconciliation experience, including journal entries, accruals, and payroll tax accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with payroll and accounting systems.
• Confidential payroll and personnel information handling.
• Collaborative, cross-functional work with HR, Finance, and program leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Finance's custodian of payroll, benefits, and labor-cost controls, reporting to the Controller.
• Prepare monthly salary and fringe allocations to programs, grants, contracts, and funding sources.
• Post biweekly payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts.
• Complete quarterly Form 941 reconciliations and support W-2 reconciliation and year-end processes.
• Serve as ADP subject matter expert for general ledger mapping, cost-center coding, and payroll interfaces.
