Job summary

Phyton Talent Advisors seeks a Payroll Associate (PF2) to join a large financial services organization in New York. You will support end-to-end payroll processing in an in-house SAP ECP environment, ensuring accuracy and timely payroll delivery.

The role covers bi-weekly payroll processing, audits, and liaison with offshore teams while maintaining internal controls. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of payroll or HR operations experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of payroll, HR Operations, or related experience.
• Experience with payroll systems; SAP ECP preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support bi-weekly payroll processing in SAP ECP
• Review and validate hires, terminations, pay changes, and payroll adjustments
• Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and issue resolution
• Provide day-to-day oversight to offshore payroll support teams
• Coordinate garnishment processes with third-party vendors
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve employee pay issues
• Participate in payroll system testing and enhancements
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Ensure compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls
