Essity seeks a Payroll and Time Management Operations Supervisor to lead payroll and time administration across the United States and Canada, managing a team and serving as the functional owner for ADP payroll systems and Kronos Dimensions/UKG.

Located in Philadelphia with a three-day in-office requirement, the role collaborates with HR, Finance, IT and external vendors to optimize payroll delivery and drive continuous improvement in timekeeping and data accuracy.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
• CPP or PCP certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience across multi-state US and/or Canada.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience in payroll teams.
• Advanced knowledge of ADP payroll platforms and Kronos Dimensions / UKG Workforce Management.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, ticketing/case-management tools, reporting, and payroll system implementations or enhancements preferred.

About the Role

The Payroll & Time Management Supervisor – North America is responsible for leading payroll and time administration operations across the United States and Canada. This role manages a team of payroll professionals and serves as the functional owner for payroll and workforce time management processes, ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with all federal, state, provincial, and local requirements.

The position serves as the primary business lead for ADP payroll systems and Kronos Dimensions / UKG Workforce Management, partnering closely with HR, Finance, Manufacturing Operations, IT, and external vendors to optimize payroll delivery, support manufacturing teams, and drive consistent service delivery across North America.

In addition to overseeing payroll and workforce time management operations, this role champions a digital-first employee experience by driving adoption of employee and manager self-service capabilities, expanding the effective use of case management and ticketing solutions, and promoting continuous improvement across payroll and timekeeping processes. The Supervisor is accountable for identifying opportunities to automate, simplify, standardize, and improve processes while strengthening operational efficiency, control, and employee satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should be located in Philadelphia and able to work three days a week in office.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state U.S. and/or Canadian payroll administration.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing payroll teams.
• Advanced knowledge of ADP payroll platforms and Kronos Dimensions / UKG Workforce Management.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, ticketing/case-management tools, reporting, and payroll system implementations or enhancements preferred.
• Experience with Workday HCM integrations with payroll and workforce management platforms preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll operations, payroll taxation, wage and hour compliance, timekeeping rules, payroll accounting, internal controls, and year-end activities including W-2, T4, and regulatory reporting support.
