Position Information

The Liaisons for Education and Policy (LEAP) Internal Shared Services Center (ISSC) provides payroll and personnel‑related services including onboarding, offboarding, time reporting, payroll oversight, position management, personnel updates, and case management (benefits, leave balances, accruals, etc.) for the School of Education and the School of Public Policy. The Payroll and Personnel Analyst will work with a wide range of employees (e.g., faculty, staff, and students) and ensure accurate data entry and handling of information related to payroll and personnel services requests. This position is responsible for providing project management support to create, organize, and execute payroll related requests. The incumbent will perform timely and accurate review, preparation, processing, and auditing of payroll, personnel, and financial transactions, and will utilize data and analytics to complete audits and identify trends in delayed or inaccurate processing. The incumbent will partner with other members of the LEAP team, other Payroll Shared Service Centers, and various stakeholders to identify opportunities to continuously improve the effectiveness, accuracy, and delivery of services. This position is eligible for hybrid work. The salary range for the Payroll and Personnel Analyst is $26.82 - $46.17 per hour, with an expected pay scale up to $31.13 per hour. Salary offers are based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. The University employee must comply with all applicable University policies and collective bargaining agreements, and federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
