This position is 100% onsite in Mooresville, NC.
Position Summary
Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, benefits administration, and related compliance activities for a multi-state workforce. This role ensures employees are paid accurately and on time, while also serving as a key resource for benefits enrollment, leave administration, and employee support. The Payroll and Benefits Specialist works closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to reconcile data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

This role primarily operates in an office setting within a manufacturing or production environment. The employee will work indoors, spending most of their time seated at a desk while using a computer. This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a keyboard and mouse, and occasional interactions with other departments via email, phone, or in-person meetings.
The work environment is typically quiet to moderately busy, with standard office lighting and climate control. The employee may occasionally need to visit production areas, requiring adherence to safety protocols, but the primary duties remain administrative in nature.
