You will process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, administer benefits, and respond to employee questions while collaborating with Finance, Accounting, the People Team, and benefit providers. Day-to-day responsibilities include reconciling deductions, supporting audits and year-end processing,

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, HR, or equivalent.
  • Multi-state payroll experience including Texas and other states.
  • Knowledge of payroll taxes, COBRA, and leave administration.

Responsibilities

  • Process multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including adjustments, bonuses, garnishments, and employee changes.
  • Resolve timekeeping discrepancies and serve as the main contact for payroll and benefits inquiries.
  • Administer medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, disability, 401(k), COBRA, and leave programs, including open enrollment.
  • Reconcile payroll and benefit deductions, carrier invoices, and 401(k) data with Finance and Accounting.
  • Support audits, quarterly reporting, year-end processing, and W-2 distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records in Dayforce and improve payroll and benefits processes and controls.

They're seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join their team in Humble, TX. This person will support accurate, timely U.S. payroll and benefits processing across a growing, multi-site organization. Reporting to the Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you'll process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, administer benefits and leave programs, and serve as a go-to resource for employee questions. You'll partner with Finance, Accounting, the People Team, and benefit providers to resolve discrepancies, keep records accurate in Dayforce, and improve processes along the way.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Multi-state payroll experience, including Texas, Utah, New Jersey, Colorado, and Washington.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, wage-and-hour rules, COBRA, and leave administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and discretion with confidential information.
  • Ceridian Dayforce and manufacturing/industrial experience are a plus.
