Job summary

CLA is seeking a Payroll Processing Analyst (Payroll Analyst II) to join our HR Systems & Payroll (HRSP) team in Tucson, AZ. You will handle a wide range of payroll responsibilities, including administration, distribution, and record-keeping for our clients.

In this role, you will input, verify, and transmit payroll data, update system records for hires/terminations, prepare payroll tax reports, and assist with audits.

Qualifications

• Three years of payroll experience is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel.
• Prior experience with payroll software is required; knowledge of ADP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain client payroll data for assigned clients.
• Input, verify and transmit payroll data for clients.
• Update payroll system for new hires, terminations, salary changes, department changes or other payroll information.
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports as needed.
• Complete mortgage and SUI verifications, as requested.
• Assist with workers' compensation audits and related data submissions.
• Process bonus payments and other special payrolls as requested.

About The Role

CLA is seeking a Payroll Processing Analyst (Payroll Analyst II) to join our HR Systems & Payroll (HRSP) team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in handling a wide range of payroll responsibilities, including administration, distribution and record-keeping for our valued clients.

As a Payroll Analyst II, You Will

• Manage and develop relationship with clients.
• Input, verify and transmit payroll data for clients.
• Update the payroll system for new hires, terminations, salary changes, department changes or any other pertinent payroll information received.
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax reports as needed.
• Complete mortgage and SUI verifications, as requested.
• Assist with workers' compensation audits, preparation of employee census data, upload retirement plan contribution data, respond to tax notices as necessary.
• Process bonus payments and other special payrolls upon request.

What You Will Need
