Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle, biweekly payroll processing for multiple locations across different states.
• Review and validate timecards, attendance records, payroll adjustments, and employee information.
• Process manual checks, off-cycle payments, deductions, garnishments, tax levies, and child support orders.
• Reconcile payroll reports, maintain accurate records, and prepare payroll-related journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and wage-and-hour regulations.
• Coordinate payroll tax filings, W-2 processing, and year-end reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate payroll data in payroll software, HRIS, and ERP systems.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
• Assist month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Support the preparation and review of profit and loss (P&L) statements.
• Assist management with financial reviews, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR to maintain accurate payroll and financial records.
