Job summary

PCC Aerostructures in Washington state is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage multi-state payroll processing for up to 33 codes in a hybrid role. You will handle gross and net pay calculations, payroll disbursements, and maintain precise payroll records with strong attention to detail.

You will assist with quarterly tax reporting, year-end reconciliations, and partner with plant HR and finance to resolve payroll issues.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for up to 33 codes weekly/bi-weekly/semi-monthly.
• Prepare, document, and disburse payroll checks; calculate gross and net pay.
• Maintain payroll records and reconcile data; troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with quarterly payroll tax reporting and resolve issues.
• Assist with year-end reconciliation for payroll, workers' comp, and 401k.
• Provide guidance to plant HR and Finance on payroll matters.
• Project work: compliance reporting, tax reporting, Garnishments.

Payroll Admin 3 - Hybrid Role

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for up to 33 company codes
• Prepares, documents, and disburses payroll checks; calculates gross and net pay amounts (e.g., salary, overtime, shift payments, sales commissions, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, tax withholdings, deductions, payroll liabilities, FLSA Overtime calculations, etc.)
• Maintains payroll-specific records and reconciles data; troubleshoots any issues that arise.
• Assist with preparation of quarterly payroll tax reporting and research and resolve payroll/tax reporting issues.
• Assist with year-end reconciliation of payroll reporting, workers comp reporting and 401k reconciliation.
• Provide guidance to plant HR leaders and Finance staff, answers questions regarding payroll matters.
• Project Work: Compliance reporting, tax reporting, and garnishment processing

Knowledge

• Requires intermediate level skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.
• Multi-state payroll experience highly desired.
• Canadian payroll processing or international payroll experience a plus.
• Works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
• Ability to prioritize work with high volume data, meet established deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, while working in a team or group environment
• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written, with customers, employees, and management regarding highly confidential and sensitive information.
• Tax experience including state and local registrations, tax amendments and W2c experience.

Required Skills

• ADP experience a must, Workforce Now or Vantage preferred
• Experience with ADP Time & Attendance, or eTime
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Teams and Excel. Must understand intermediate level formulas and have the ability to maintain spreadsheets.
• Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to work under strict deadlines while processing and reconciling multiple payrolls concertedly.
• High regard for cross-functional excellence and integrity in a client service capacity.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills

Required Experience

• 4-6 years payroll experience
• Certifications:
• CPP or FPC Certifications a plus

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $30.00 to $38.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
