firstPRO 360 is seeking a Payroll Administrator with Union experience (construction industry preferred) for a permanent opportunity near the Battery.

After training - hybrid 3 days in / 2 days remote

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas :

• Larger construction company / knowledge of job costing
• Union payroll
• Exposure to certified payroll reporting

Responsibilities :

• Enter weekly time for employees through various methods including uploading of import files, spreadsheet upload, and manual data entry.
• Balance payroll files and audit reports.
• Identify and resolve payroll issues promptly.
• Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures, and report needed changes.
• Coordinate efforts between payroll, human resources, and other departments to ensure proper workflow and maintenance of employee data.
• Ensure proper deductions for payroll taxes, benefits, wage garnishments, and other items.
• Assist with the preparation of Certified Payrolls.
• Follow governance procedures for payroll data, time and attendance, record keeping, and internal controls. Assist auditors during audits by providing documents and payroll-related reports upon request.

Qualifications :

• Experience with ADP (preferred)
• 2+ years in a high-volume, multi-state payroll environment
• Proficiency in Excel
• Exposure to certified payroll reporting
