Job summary

Optomi is seeking a Payments System Engineer with a strong background in payments and money movement. The ideal candidate combines software engineering excellence with deep knowledge of payment rails, regulatory considerations, and operational requirements for moving money.

You will work with a modern stack and cloud technologies, with AWS preferred. Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, or Python is relevant, with TypeScript favored.

Optomi is seeking a Payments System Engineer with strong payments and money-movement experience. The right person will have a strong engineering background along with experience in payment systems, financial services, and the regulatory and operational requirements of moving money.

The ideal person will have experience with ACH, wires, transfers, payment processing, or other payment systems, preferably with exposure to payments modernization initiatives.

This role will work with a modern technology stack and cloud technologies, with AWS preferred. Experience with Java, TypeScript, or Python is relevant, with TypeScript preferred. Serverless architecture experience is a plus.
