Qualifications

• 7+ years of business analytics experience, payments risk experience, or both.
• 4+ years of experience writing complex SQL code.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Hive.
• Experience parsing and analyzing XML, delimited, and fixed-width data.
• Ability to develop data pipelines and reporting for analytics and executives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data management and analytics challenges.
• Develop a deep understanding of wire payment data, initiation channels, and related processes.
• Compare wire messages with instructions from payment initiation channels.
• Identify data discrepancies, risks, trends, and control issues.
• Collaborate with platform support, risk, business, and technology teams.
• Lead discussions with product SMEs and owners regarding findings and resolution.
• Develop and maintain reporting for risk, controls, audit, business, and executives.
• Build and support data pipelines, transformations, and reporting.
• Review complex datasets and evaluate multiple business and technical factors.
• Ensure data analysis complies with data security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
