The role requires extensive analytics experience, advanced SQL skills (SQL Server or Hive), and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for risk, control, and audit teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business analytics experience in payments risk.
• 4+ years writing complex SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or Hive).
• Experience parsing XML, delimited, and fixed-width data.
• Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Reporting and analytics experience to develop data pipelines, transformations, and reports for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze wires risk controls and financial crimes compliance.
• Liaise with platform support teams representing payment initiation channels.
• Develop control reporting for risk, control, and audit teams.
• Develop a deep understanding of wires data, initiation channels, and related business processes.
• Lead discussions with product SMEs and business owners to resolve findings and improve processes.
