Job summary

Fullsteam is seeking an Accounting Manager, Payments and Platform Services Revenue to own billing and revenue recognition for the US and Canada, and to lead the payments revenue accounting team through growth.

You will partner with risk, underwriting, sales, operations, and backend systems to drive process improvements, ensure SOX controls, and mentor a high-performing team.

The role requires a CPA and 6–8 years in payments or transactional revenue, with NetSuite/Zuora experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including payment processing or transactional revenue.
• 3+ years of people-management experience leading teams.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite, Zuora).
• Strong US GAAP knowledge with ASC 606 revenue recognition expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payments revenue accounting and close.
• Manage billing and revenue recognition for Payments and Platform Services.
• Lead and develop the payments revenue accounting team.
• Collaborate with risk, underwriting, sales, operations, and backend systems.
• Ensure accurate month-end and quarter-end closes for payments revenue.
