Job summary

Prominent is seeking a Quality Assurance Leader to oversee testing initiatives across multiple projects in a banking/fintech environment. You will define test strategies, lead SDLC testing, and mentor the QA team, collaborating with senior stakeholders and global technical teams.

The role emphasizes test planning, automation, and continuous improvement using Tosca and Selenium, with experience in mainframe and web testing, ADA accessibility, and regulatory processes such as NACHA.

Qualifications

• Experience in Banking/Financial Services including Payments, Tax Payments, ACH, NACHA.
• Experience with Test Automation Tools Tosca and Selenium.
• Experience with mainframe and distributed applications.
• Web application, database, performance, and accessibility testing.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management.
• Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, Workday, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple testing initiatives across projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Define, review, and approve test strategies, plans, and QA deliverables.
• Lead testing across SDLC aligning with requirements.
• Mentor QA team members and act as SME for applications and testing methods.
• Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, developers, and global teams.
• Plan and execute testing phases; design test cases and scripts.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, defects, and results.
• Support functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Communicate defects and risks with impact analysis and reports.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement; monitor quality metrics.
