Job summary

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA is seeking a Payment Processor in Ohio to prepare transactions for deposit in a high production environment. The role involves indexing and applying payments to accounts, manual data entry of MICR/CARLAR data, posting cash and Web payments, and handling checks by phone.

A background check is required and attendance is essential. The position includes working with MS Office, Foxtrot, SharePoint, and other systems, along with standard benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of clerical experience.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret data.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel), HP, Outlook, Foxtrot, SharePoint.
• Must pass background check including credit and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Index, research, and apply payments to WWR accounts.
• Manual entry of MICR/CARLAR data from checks.
• Create letters to consumers as required.
• Post cash payments.
• Process Web payments, debit card payments and post-dated checks.
• Process payments on closed accounts.
• General posting items.
• Coordinate with Legal Department on checks allocation.
• Process check-by-phone payments.
• Attend required training and maintain attendance.
