Job summary

Entrata is seeking a Director of Engineering Payments to lead the payments platform, including card, ACH, disbursement, ledger, settlement, and related financial workflows. You will drive strategy and execution across engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable payment experiences.

Partner with Product, Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Security, and external payment partners to meet regulatory and business objectives while ensuring platform reliability and high transaction integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in software engineering with 5+ years in engineering leadership.
• Experience with payment processing, money movement, fintech or other transaction-intensive financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities of multiple integrated software engineering teams through lower management levels.
• Oversee design, development, and delivery of software solutions for enterprise-level transformation products.
• Set objectives, plans, and roadmaps for the engineering department aligned with long-term goals.
• Lead architectural strategy for secure, resilient cloud-native environments using AWS, PostgreSQL, and Node.js.
• Direct delivery of payment and money-movement capabilities including payment processing and ledgering.
• Ensure architecture and operations meet PCI DSS, NACHA, data privacy and internal controls.
