Job summary

Neumo is hiring a Software Engineer, Payments to design, build, test, and maintain features for the payments platform, including merchant portal and checkout experiences. You will work across the stack (.NET 8, Vue.js, Azure storage) to deliver reliable, secure software that moves money, with a focus on high-reliability transactional systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of professional software development experience, strong C#/.NET skills, and familiarity with cloud storage and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET (NET 8 preferred) including ASP.NET Core web APIs.
• Experience with cloud-based storage such as Azure Table Storage or Blob Storage.
• Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and working software for payments processing.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET 8.
• Design data models for Azure storage and optimize query performance.
• Build integrations with payment processors and gateways.
• Ensure secure coding practices and PCI DSS compliance.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with QA and support teams to diagnose issues.
• Monitor performance and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Own a workstream (e.g., merchant portal or payment APIs) end-to-end.
