Job summary

Blue Ribbon Global Technologies is seeking a Domain Architect to own the payments domain and define structure for time‑critical workflows across Temporal, Kafka, and Azure. You will prototype, review production code, and mentor engineers while aligning multiple teams to a single architectural standard.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering with 5+ years building payment systems, deep expertise in domain-driven design, and strong C#/.NET 8+.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience.
• 5+ years building payment systems.
• Domain-driven design: bounded contexts and domain events.
• Expert C# / .NET 8+ and production-grade code.
• Temporal (preferred) or durable workflow engine.
• Kafka in production environments.
• Azure PaaS: App Service, Cosmos DB, APIM, Key Vault.
• Containerization and Kubernetes in production.
• PCI DSS and tokenization expertise.
• Observability design with OpenTelemetry.
• Proven track record aligning multiple teams on a shared architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the domain's architecture, technical roadmap, and key decisions.
• Define domain boundaries, model, and shared vocabulary.
• Decide ownership of business operations for services/workflows.
• Write ADRs and ARB-ready specs.
• Design idempotent, exactly-once workflows (sagas, outbox/inbox).
• Build durable workflows on Temporal and Kafka events.
• Lead cross-team migrations off legacy paths and mentor engineers.
