Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking an Operations Support Representative to accurately process incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and wires, while ensuring compliance and timely settlement. The role involves reconciling transactions, supporting system upgrades, and collaborating with Accounting and Dealer Receivables to resolve issues.

The position is on-site in West Valley City, UT, with standard hours Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, and offers a pathway toward leadership roles through robust training

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ACH, wire transfer platforms, and lockbox systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Detail oriented and able to work under deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial transaction platforms.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math and data entry abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify daily check deposits, stop payments, and check returns.
• Handle payment files, batch processing, and transaction reconciliation.
• Monitor ACH debits/credits and wire transfers per cut-off times.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, rejects, and exceptions.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Dealer Receivables to resolve issues.
• Assist with system upgrades, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Payment reversals and reapplications.
• Accounts Payable Checks
• Lockbox Access
• Assistance with Mail Processing.
