Job summary

Rnb Consultancy seeks an engineer to own the money-movement stack for a fast-growing fintech in San Francisco. You will manage card issuing, ledger integrity and reconciliation, plus CI/CD, monitoring and risk controls as the system scales from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of cardholders.

We value candidates who have led real distributed-systems with measurable metrics, depth over years, and a penchant for first-principles reasoning. In-person, SF-based, 9–5. Visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Led real distributed-systems and high-throughput work with measurable metrics.
• Some security exposure.
• Reason from first principles rather than copying a previous setup.
• 2+ years of engineering experience (depth over years).
• In person in San Francisco, 9-9-5.

Responsibilities

• Own the money-movement stack: card issuing, ledger integrity and reconciliation.
• Own CI/CD, monitoring and reliability across large-scale cardholders.
• Implement security and fraud controls that scale with volume.
• Make architecture choices from first principles.
