Job description

We are looking for Solution Architects with a true passion for driving transformation in financial services. Our Solution Architects play a key role within the Icon Services business, representing us professionally in customer engagements and delivering a range of solutions. These may include supporting end-to-end transformation journeys, enabling organizations to optimize existing systems, advising on strategy and delivery of new initiatives, or responding to regulatory requirements.

About you:

• You have practical experience in solution architecture delivery within large, complex organizations, whether working independently, as part of a team, or leading one. Previous exposure to banking is preferred.
• We are particularly interested in architects experienced in payments, cards, digital banking, core banking, anti-financial crime, and data. Experience in leading transformations from legacy to modern architectures, including APIs, microservices, event streaming, cloud, agile delivery, and DevOps, is highly valued.
• You may or may not have consulting experience, but you should be articulate, confident in stakeholder engagement at all levels, and capable of crafting high-quality, engaging, and impactful deliverables.

• Advise financial institutions on solving complex IT transformation challenges by shaping strategies that enable them to respond proactively to regulatory changes, technological evolution, and industry disruption.
• Create and own architecture deliverables within client projects, promoting simplified solutions tailored to the client’s environment and organizational context.
• Support project delivery by collaborating with design authorities, technology teams, and business stakeholders.
• Assist in Icon’s presales and business development activities, including discovery sessions, bid preparations, and developing consultancy propositions.
• Contribute to blogs, whitepapers, articles, and podcasts to promote Icon’s industry thought leadership.
