This Deployment Technician (Tier I) role delivers first-level technical support to merchants and partners, configuring and installing payment terminals, POS systems, gateways, and software integrations.

You will troubleshoot issues and maintain ticket ownership throughout the installation process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical education preferred.
• Customer service or technical support experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for merchants, sales representatives, and internal teams.
• Configure, test, deploy, and install payment terminals, POS systems, gateways, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and payment processing issues.
• Escalate advanced issues to senior staff as needed.
• Maintain ownership of installation and support tickets through to completion.
• Meet or exceed SLAs and document all interactions in MAC and processor portals.
