POSITION SUMMARY

The Payment Operations Specialist will develop innovative solutions within the Payment and Merchant Technology space, including traditional and trending payment networks. This is a remote work opportunity.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education:	Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communication, or related field, or equivalent experience. AAP certification preferred.
Required Knowledge:	Understanding of merchant processing and bank compliance. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (BSA, OFAC, Privacy, etc.). Network integration knowledge with third-party networks (Zelle, ACH, ATM, RTP, Card Networks). Banking courses through a banking school are a plus.
Required Experience:	3-5 years in merchant processing operations. 2+ years in high-volume ACH payments processing, reverse wire, and real-time payments. Experience in Payment processing, Merchant Acquirer, and Merchant Services.
Required Skills:	Customer service and technical focus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, work collaboratively, and meet objectives. Independence and decision-making confidence. Confidentiality, organizational skills, and project management.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Requires vision, hearing, speech, movement, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and a valid driver’s license. Approximately 40 hours/week.

Requires analytical skills, data-driven tactics, decision-making, discretion, and stress management.

Essential Functions & Duties

• Handle ACH batch and file transmissions.
• Onboard merchants, maintain files, assist with equipment deployment, and perform quality assurance.
• Manage high-volume ACH transactions, facilitate payments, and handle payment research.
• Provide customer support, troubleshoot issues, and document problems.
• Review refunds, disputes, and compile reports.
• Assist with audits, stay updated on industry changes, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Additional Responsibilities

• Follow all bank policies, regulations, including BSA, AML, CIP, OFAC.
• Perform other duties as required.
