Eneba Games is hiring for a Payment Operations-focused role to improve checkout funnel health across multiple PSPs. You will surface alerts, investigate declines, and translate findings into actionable improvements for authorization and conversion.

The role requires strong SQL, BI dashboard familiarity, and experience in a fast-growing, multi-provider payments environment. Remote work options are available, with location flexibility.

Qualifications

• Payments funnel literacy including interchange, decline codes, FX, tokenization, 3DS and fraud fundamentals.
• Root-cause analysis of funnel drop-off or declines, distinguishing engineering defects from user behavior.
• Ability to translate complex data and customer behavior insights for non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in SQL for independent investigation.
• Familiarity with self-serve BI/dashboard tools for rapid analysis.
• Experience navigating ambiguity in fast-changing, high-growth environments.
• Experience performing multi-PSP comparative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead root-cause investigations to distinguish engineering defects from user-behavior patterns and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support the funnel's reporting cadence to cross-functional teams, turning data into actionable insights to improve authorization rate and conversion.
• Analyze authorization-rate, decline-code, and multi-PSP performance to identify bottlenecks in the funnel.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Fraud on diagnostic work behind funnel issues and processor outages.
• Develop into a trusted point of contact for payment funnel health within the team.

About the team

This is a newly formed team within Payment Operations, built to give Eneba end-to-end visibility into the payment funnel that supports our 20m+ active users across 17+ payment service providers. Today, there is no single, reliable view of funnel health - this team exists to build one: the alerting, dashboards, and reporting needed to identify issues early, quantify their business impact, and route them to the right owner for resolution, whether the root cause sits with us or with a provider. As a newly established function, the team operates with a strong bias toward action and iteration - validating ideas quickly through small, working proofs of concept rather than long planning cycles, and building up from there.

About You

You bring hands-on experience working within a payment funnel and are comfortable navigating a complex, multi-provider environment - you understand concepts like decline codes and 3DS flows, not just in theory but in practice. You take initiative to investigate issues independently rather than waiting to be assigned a defined task, and you can communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders without a deep payments background. You're equally comfortable building something from first principles and operating without an established playbook.

• Develop into a trusted point of contact for payment funnel health within the team.

Requirements

• Able to translate complex data and customer-behavior insights for audiences without deep technical or domain context.
• SQL fluency for independent investigation.
• Self-serve BI/dashboard tool familiarity for personal investigation speed.
• Experience navigating ambiguity in a fast-changing or high-growth environment.
• Multi-PSP comparative analysis experience.

Salary

Salary: EUR 40,000-60,000 Euro a year Salary ranges may vary. We're seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
