Job summary

Iowa Specialty Hospital is hiring a Full Time Payment Auditor to join our Business Office. The role focuses on auditing payments from insurance companies, verifying contracted rates against payments, and learning reimbursement methods for CAH and RHC settings. You will also support various reporting and auditing tasks.

Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential, as is prior medical billing experience. Hours are Monday–Friday, with flexible options, and benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Audit payments received from insurance companies.

Full Time Payment Auditor Position Available.

Monday-Friday 8:30a- 5p (Hours are flexible).

Position will be responsible for auditing payments received from Insurance companies.

The objective is to compare contracted rates/fees vs the actual payments received.

Position will need to learn the various methods a CAH and RHC are reimbursed in addition to assisting with various other reporting and auditing functions for the Business Office.

As part of a team where your individual opinion matters, this position will require previous medical billing or reimbursement knowledge in addition to internal training.

Attention to detail is very important as well as the ability to multi-task.
