Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering development or operations teams.
• Experience with technical project management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to obtain and maintain a US Passport and meet CDC immunization requirements as applicable.
• Able to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians across multiple facilities.
• Maintain budget and staffing plans for the payload processing technology team.
• Establish standards for production and maintenance of ground support hardware and software.
• Plan new facilities for storage, processing, and launch prep of satellites.
• Oversee maintenance, calibration, and upgrades of instrumentation racks and power supplies.
• Coordinate cable harness shop operations and diagnostics.
• Interface with stakeholders to provision power and telecom to facilities.
• Ensure safe work by authoring job hazard analyses and training compliance.
• Travel up to 25% annually as required.
• Pass Kennedy Space Center background checks.
