SEACORP in Middletown, RI is seeking a Payload Control IETM Developer to join our Combat Systems team. You will write, update and edit Integrated Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) in XML, and work with SMEs to ensure accuracy of technical documents.
Responsibilities include creating data modules, publication modules, and ICN graphics per S1000D, reviewing materials, coordinating production, and supporting a deadline-driven team.

Job Summary: SEACORP is currently looking for a Payload Control ITEM developer. Under the Combat Systems Business Area, the Technical Writer will have a part in the development and integration of cutting‑edge combat, command and control systems for U.S Navy platforms. The successful candidate will write, update and/or edit technical documents such as Integrated Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) in XML format, process documentation, technical reports, user guides, and procedures. The candidate will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), research and analyze available literature and specifications.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience.
Experience: 3 years of experience and AN/BYG1 Combat Control System operation and maintenance desired.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship.
Please note that an Active Secret Clearance is required on the date of hire.

Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs.
