Job summary

Roche Diagnostics seeks a Healthcare Payer Lead to transform the economics of its AI-enabled healthcare solutions in the United States and globally. You will shape payer value, reimbursement strategies, and market access while collaborating with GTM, policy, and product teams.

You will engage payers and payviders, translate clinical and economic data into payer-ready value propositions, and help embed payer perspectives into product development and evidence generation across regions.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree + 7 years relevant experience or Master’s degree + 5 years relevant experience or Doctorate + 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in healthcare payer, payvider, or healthcare system organizations.
• Experience in health & life sciences industry.
• Understanding of reimbursement models and market trends (VBHC, FFS, capitation).
• Ability to quantify payer value (cost, utilization, outcomes).
• Experience shaping reimbursement pathways for digital/clinical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and disseminate deep understanding of the healthcare payer landscape.
• Assess and articulate payer value of clinician use into evidence and monetization pathways.
• Shape reimbursement and market access strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Engage with payers and external stakeholders to inform product and GTM strategies.
• Integrate payer perspectives into product development and clinical strategy.
• Collaborate across global and local teams to ensure payer-relevant positioning.
