Job summary

LEO Pharma is seeking a Director, Payer Marketing to lead the payer market access strategy for Daylight, a rare disease product, with hybrid work from their Madison, NJ office. You will translate clinical and economic insights into differentiated payer materials and engagement plans to support formulary positioning and patient access.

You will partner with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access, Brand Marketing, Sales, Legal, Medical, and Regulatory teams to drive launch success and measure

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required; advanced healthcare degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years in pharma/managed care; at least 3 in marketing or sales.
  • Deep knowledge of US healthcare, payer systems, value-based purchasing, population health.
  • Product launch experience strongly desired.
  • Ability to build consensus in a matrix environment; travel 25-30%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the payer marketing strategy for a new rare specialty product.
  • Lead payer value propositions, pricing, positioning, messaging for commercial and government payers.
  • Translate clinical evidence and economic data into payer-facing materials.
  • Develop strategies to support favorable coverage, formulary placement, and patient access.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, Market Access, Brand Marketing, Sales, Legal, Medical, and Regulatory teams.
  • Establish performance metrics and manage external agencies, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
