Universal Primary Care is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Payer Enrollment Assistant to join our team in Olean, NY. You will manage provider enrollment and credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, tracking applications and deadlines with precision.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and payer portals such as CAQH and PECOS.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration preferred.
• Experience with provider credentialing, payer enrollment, medical billing, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, CAQH, and PECOS is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone communication with payers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accurate electronic tracking systems.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, complete, submit, and process enrollment applications for healthcare providers and facilities with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, and others.
• Maintain accurate records of enrollment applications, including submission dates, status, payer communications, approval dates, effective dates, and recredentialing deadlines.
• Weekly payer follow-up to obtain status updates and resolve issues for timely processing.
• Monitor recredentialing and reenrollment deadlines and complete required documentation to prevent lapses.
• Gather, verify, organize, and maintain provider and facility documentation (licenses, certifications, malpractice, NPI, etc.).
• Maintain provider information in CAQH, PECOS, payer portals, and internal tracking systems.
• Identify delays or discrepancies and work with payers and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with HR, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and clinical leadership to support timely enrollment of new providers and changes.
• Provide updates on pending applications, deadlines, and completed enrollments; ensure compliance with payer requirements.
