Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 years hospital and/or Medical Office billing and/or collection experience.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all billing and collecting of claims is completed accurately and timely.
• Follow-up on underpayments and denials to secure payment.
• Update patient demographic and insurance information in the accounting system.
• Audit accounts for missed payments, adjustments, and remark codes.
• Communicate with insurance carriers by phone and online to verify payment and eligibility.
