About the Role

ROCKCREST is seeking an experienced Paycor Consultant with comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of the Paycor HCM platform to support a variety of client engagements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working across multiple Paycor modules, troubleshooting system issues, optimizing existing configurations, and advising clients on best practices.

We are particularly interested in consultants who have previously supported multiple Paycor clients in a consulting or implementation capacity and can confidently step into different client environments, assess challenges, and deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on consulting, troubleshooting, and system optimization support across the Paycor HCM platform.
• Assess existing client configurations, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements aligned with business needs and best practices.
• Support a broad range of Paycor modules, including:
• Core HR & Employee Management
• Payroll & Tax Administration
• Benefits Administration & Open Enrollment
• Onboarding & Offboarding
• Performance & Talent Management
• Compensation Management
• Learning Management
• Workflows, Integrations & General Ledger (GL)
• Troubleshoot complex configuration issues, payroll discrepancies, data inaccuracies, and system functionality challenges.
• Assist with system implementations, module rollouts, configuration enhancements, and post-implementation support.
• Provide strategic guidance on Paycor functionality, process improvements, and system utilization.
• Partner directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues, and provide ongoing functional and technical support.
• Deliver knowledge transfer, documentation, and training to help clients better manage their Paycor environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Paycor HCM,ideally across most or all major modules.
• Prior experience consulting with multiple Paycor clients is strongly preferred, whether independently, through a consulting firm, or in a Paycor implementation/client services role.
• Strong background in Paycor system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Experience conducting system assessments, identifying gaps, and recommending best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage client engagements and provide practical, hands‑on solutions.
• Understanding of HR, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and related business processes.
• Experience supporting implementations, integrations, reporting, and data management is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship management skills.

Ideal Candidate
