Job summary

FirstCash is seeking entry-level, full-time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associates nationwide. This role combines customer service with sales, loans and everyday transactions in a pawn store environment, including handling jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

You will earn an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity, with the potential for increased earnings through a commission plan. Benefits and a store-hour aligned schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and use POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to build rapport and drive sales.
• Perform open/close procedures as needed.
• Keep sales floor clean and merchandised.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per procedures.
• Answer calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure a memorable customer experience.
• Complete training and adapt to duties as assigned.
