Job summary

Aviator Paving, part of Cardinal Infrastructure Group, is hiring a Construction Laborer to support site preparation, grading, paving, and concrete tasks in Pineville, NC. This full-time role involves assisting foremen, handling materials, and maintaining safety on busy job sites.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a willingness to learn, reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic. Training and safety orientation are provided; expect early starts and variable hours on active projects.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform physical work outdoors.
• Willingness to learn construction skills and follow safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• No prior construction experience required.
• Must pass company safety training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up work areas to keep crews on schedule.
• Hand-grade subgrade and stone base; compact stone to lines specified by Foreman.
• Rake, lute, and shovel hot asphalt; finish edges and joints.
• Assist with tack coat, milling, patching, and pavement repairs.
• Assist with forming, pouring, and finishing concrete curbs and gutters.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and report hazards immediately.
