Job summary

Aviator Paving, part of Cardinal Infrastructure Group, seeks a full-time crew member for Raleigh, NC. You will assist with site preparation, grading, asphalt paving, and concrete work on active sites, following safety protocols and direction from the Foreman.

The role emphasizes teamwork, physical endurance, and on-the-job training in paving, base preparation, and traffic-control tasks across projects in the Carolinas.

Qualifications

• No prior construction experience required; willingness to learn the trade and take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a crew.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to perform physical tasks outdoors.
• Reliable transportation and punctual, dependable attendance.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sites before, during, and after work; clear debris and stage materials.
• Hand-grade subgrade and base; compact stone to specified lines.
• Rake, lute, and shovel asphalt; finish edges and joints.
• Assist with forming, pouring, and finishing concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalks.
• Follow project plans, report issues to Foreman, and maintain safety compliance.
