Qualifications

• Operates roller with guidance from density technician and selects appropriate mode and settings.
• Maintains safety and communication with paving crew and density technician.
• Experience with asphalt paving equipment and basic math is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily machine walk-around inspections and report deficiencies.
• Operate roller with density technician, selecting static or vibratory mode and parameters for mix type.
• Support paving crew, monitor speed, and adjust roller pattern for smoothness.
• Complete end-of-day maintenance and site cleanup; ensure equipment meets manufacturer specs.
• Travel to multiple job sites and work overtime, nights, or weekends as needed.
