Texas Materials - Gulf Coast Area, a CRH Company, is hiring a Paving Operator in Houston. The role involves operating a variety of paving equipment for groundwork and construction, with duties ranging from material loading to setting up forms and ensuring smooth plant operation.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with 1 year of related experience and preferred 3 years in road construction. On-site work with competitive pay and safety-first policies are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience and/or training in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of road construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive machines onto truck trailers and transport machines/material to and from job sites.
• Observe distribution of paving material and adjust machine settings or material flow.
• Control paving machines to maintain a steady flow of asphalt or material into hoppers or screeds.
• Set up forms and lay out guidelines for curbs according to specifications.
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment or report malfunctions to supervisors.
• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
