Knife River Corporation is hiring a Paving Laborer to support our road and infrastructure projects in Washington. This role involves physical outdoor work, including digging, lifting, and operating equipment under supervision.

You should be capable of working day or night shifts and be comfortable with varying weather conditions. We value safety, reliability, and a willingness to travel if the project demands it.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of construction work.

Responsibilities

• Dig, spread, and level material using hand tools.
• Lift and carry tools and supplies.
• Operate pickup machine and direct dumping of trucks.
• Follow all safety policies to prevent unsafe actions.
• Other duties as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Dig, spread, and level material using hand tools
• Lift and carry tools and supplies
• Operate pickup machine and direct dumping of trucks
• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
• Other duties assigned as needed

-Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including: standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking

Minimum Qualifications

• General knowledge of construction work
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work day and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be willing to travel if job requires
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
