Description

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking multiple Foremen for a paving & excavating company located in York, PA.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record is required
• Previous asphalt paving experience is highly desired

Job Duties

• Requires hands on field leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to oversee production, equipment, and job site workflow to meet project specifications and deadlines
• Conduct daily job briefings based on work orders and instructions from the Project Manager or Superintendent.
• Review project plans and layout requirements; organize the day\'s operations accordingly.
• Assign tasks to laborers and equipment operators based on crew capabilities and daily work orders.
• Lead daily safety meetings (\"toolbox talks\") to review hazards, site conditions, and OSHA protocols.
• Perform pre shift equipment inspections for pavers, rollers, skid steers, excavators, and additional machinery.
• Ordering blacktop/asphalt involves contacting local plants to confirm availability
